Our History

On March 8, 2023, Project 3120 Inc. became an official non-profit organization! Inspired by Proverbs 31:20, we are blessed to give encouragement, monitary donations, food, and supplies to those in need. 

 

 In May of 2021, the sisters of our founder, Deshahn Granville, were both diagnosed with breast cancer in the same week. It was very devastating to their family, but in support of her younger sister, Deshahn began taking her to weekly chemotherapy treatments at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Camden, NJ. Due to COVID restrictions, she was not permitted to accompany her sister inside during her treatments, so she stayed in her car and waited. While waiting, homeless people would see her and ask for money or food. Some days she didn’t have cash to give, and it would break her heart. So she made a commitment to herself that she would keep envelopes in her car with money inside to be a blessing to those in need. To this day, she fills each envelope with $3 ( a dollar for Father, Son and Holy Ghost) and labels each envelope: "COMPASSION CASH - GOD BLESS YOU!"

 

God pushed purpose through her family’s pain, and through that birthing became Project 31:20.
